In anticipation of the grand closing concert of the “First Day Tour” in Liepaja, Signet Bank, together with one of Latvia’s most beloved bands, Brainstorm, is continuing last year’s heartfelt memory campaign, “Tell Your Story About Brainstorm.” Until July 13, everyone is invited to submit their most vivid, emotional, or joyful memory about the band, its songs, or concerts. The authors of the stories will have a chance to win tickets to the “First Day Tour” closing concert at Liepaja’s Daugava Stadium, as well as a special in-person meeting with the band on July 18.
For many people in Latvia, Brainstorm’s songs have become part of life’s most significant moments – first loves, friendships, travels, family celebrations, and concerts that remain unforgettable for a lifetime. This year, the campaign opens with a special story, as former President of Latvia Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga shares her memories of BrainStorm.
I have met kings and queens, but I have also performed with Latvia’s most famous rock band in front of 40,000 people. It was an unforgettable experience, recalls Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga.

During last year’s memory story campaign, 235 heartfelt, personal, and inspiring stories were submitted from across Latvia. Behind each one was a unique moment in life connected to BrainStorm. Continuing this tradition of preserving stories, the aim of the campaign is to create and maintain a “Memory Library” of Brainstorm – emotions, memories, and experiences in which music becomes part of life, friendship, and family history.
We are delighted that through this campaign we not only get to know our listeners and fans better, but also reflect on what we have experienced together ourselves. Last year, we met some of the story authors in person, and those were truly beautiful encounters – so many positive emotions and heartfelt surprises. Friends, tell us how eventful your time in Liepaja has been, we are waiting for your stories! shares Brainstorm.

There is music we listen to, and there is music that becomes part of our life story. The stories received last year confirmed that Brainstorm’s songs are connected for many people with special life events, individuals, and emotions that last for years. This campaign is not only about the band or concerts – it is about our shared memories that, together with the band’s music, become part of Latvia’s cultural space. For Signet Bank, it is important to support initiatives that strengthen Latvian culture and create lasting value. Together with Brainstorm, we continue this initiative and invite everyone to contribute their story to the shared BrainStorm memory library, says Ineta Done, Member of the Management Board of Signet Bank.

As part of the collaboration project, until July 13, everyone will have the opportunity to submit their personal Brainstorm story on the website in written, video, or audio format. Brainstorm will select their favorites, who will receive tickets to the tour’s closing concert in Liepaja and the opportunity to meet the band in person. Winners will be announced on July 15.
