The investment management company Signet Asset Management Latvia is a 100% subsidiary of Signet Bank.
The company was founded in 2010, and its team comprises investment professionals with years of experience in European and Eastern European financial markets. In addition to working with individual client portfolios, Signet Asset Management Latvia also manages a third-level private pension plan and an investment fund Signet Bond Fund.
The company is fully licensed by the Financial and Capital Market Commission to provide investment management services (Licence No. 06.03.07.439/317).
Alexey Generalov started his career in the financial sector in 1995. He has an extensive experience in various areas of the banking business: correspondent relations, brokerage, asset management, treasury management. His total experience in the financial markets is over 20 years. Alexey joined the team of the Signet Bank in spring 2019 as the Head of Brokerage Division. He has a Master’s Degree in Finances of the Faculty of Economics, University of Latvia.
Harijs Bekeris started his career in the field of asset management in 2006, when he joined Parex Asset Management, initially being responsible for the discretionary portfolio management of clients’ funds. Since 2009, Harijs Beķeris has also been involved in the management of the CBL Asset Management several investment funds and 2nd and 3rd level pillar pension plans. Harijs Bekeris joined Signet Asset Management Latvia’s team shortly after it was founded in 2011 and has since been managing investment portfolios for clients and a private 3rd pillar pension plan. He has a professional Master’s degree in financial economics from the University of Latvia. In 2017 Harijs Bekeris earned the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation which certifies the mastery of a core body of knowledge of investment risk in portfolio management and is the preeminent designation for practitioners of technical analysis worldwide.
Ineta studied Social Sciences at the University of Latvia, graduating with a Master’s degree in Management Science. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the BA School of Business and Finance, and a Master of Arts degree from the Art Academy of Latvia. Ineta has been employed in the financial sector since 1994. She worked at Parex Banka as Deputy Head of Customer Relations, as Head of the Branch Network and Head of Private Banking, and as Head of Private Banking at Citadele Bank. Her professional horizons expanded further still in 2011, in her new position as Head of the European Region Business Department at MDM – one of the largest Russian banks. Since 2013, Ineta has been with Signet Bank as Senior Vice President and Head of Customer Relationship and Service Division. She is also a Member of the Board at the Bank’s subsidiary, Signet Asset Management Latvia.
Reinis Zauers has been practicing and gaining work experience in the legal field since 1999, working in both the private and public sectors. He started to build his career in financial services in 2003 by taking management positions in the banks. Reinis has been Legal Counsel of Capital Markets and Investment Banking Division in Parex Bank and General Counsel, Head of Legal department and Member of the Management Team in Baltikums Bank. Since 2013 he is the Head of Legal Department and the Member of the Management Group of Signet Bank. In 2005 he obtained a master’s degree in University of Latvia.
