INVESTOR PULSE 2026 is being launched in the Baltics – a study aimed at gaining in-depth insight into private investors’ investment habits, motivations, future expectations, and attitudes toward the capital market. For the first time, the study is being conducted simultaneously in all three Baltic countries, allowing for a comparison of investor sentiment and investment trends in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
The Baltic capital market has experienced rapid growth in recent years – with both private investor activity and corporate interest in raising capital on the market on the rise. At the same time, there has been a lack of in-depth and comparable data on private investors themselves.
Following the successful completion of the first INVESTOR PULSE survey in Latvia, we are expanding the survey to the entire Baltic region this year. This survey will not only provide a better understanding of private investors’ habits in each country, but will also allow us to compare investor sentiment across the Baltic region for the first time. I believe that a strong capital market begins with an understanding of its participants, says Laima Auza, the creator of the INVESTOR PULSE survey and co-founder of SPRING PR & Communications.

The INVESTOR PULSE survey invites private investors who invest in stocks, bonds, or other securities, or who are interested in investing, to participate. The survey will analyze investors’ investment habits, attitudes toward various asset classes, the use of artificial intelligence in investment decision-making, views on the development of the Baltic capital markets, as well as attitudes toward second-pillar pension reforms that have already taken place in Estonia and Lithuania. The survey questionnaire has been prepared in English to ensure a unified approach and comparable results across all three Baltic countries.
In recent years, investor activity in the Baltic capital market has grown very rapidly, at times even outpacing the supply of new investment opportunities. This confirms that there is demand for investment opportunities in the region and that the investor community is becoming increasingly active. Therefore, it is important to understand not only where investors are investing, but also what drives their choices and what their expectations are regarding the future development of the capital market. A study of this scale will provide valuable insights for both issuers and the entire capital market ecosystem, says Kristiāna Janvare, Head of Investment Banking at Signet Bank.

Private investors in the Baltics are becoming increasingly active and knowledgeable, but until now they have had few opportunities to view themselves within the broader Baltic context. INVESTOR PULSE will provide an opportunity to compare investor habits, priorities, and sentiment across all three countries, while creating a valuable benchmark for the investor community in the coming years, says Inta Buša, Head of Marketing and Business Development at Investoru Klubs.
