With the support of Signet Bank, a new residential building Renaissance has been added to the urban environment of the historical centre of Riga. The developer of the project is SIA “LNK Properties”, the author of architecture and interior design is the architectural bureau “Sarma Norde”, while the construction works were carried out by one of the largest construction companies in Latvia, “LNK Industries”.
The total investment in the project, including the purchase of land, is 5.5 million EUR, of which 2.3 million EUR is a loan from Signet Bank.
The new building is located in the modern centre of Riga, with Skanstes Street as the central traffic artery of the neighbourhood. The construction of the building was started by AS “LNK Industries” in December 2020, and despite the challenges of the last two years, the work was completed on time and apartment residents will soon be able to use the advantages of both the building and the new apartments for their convenience.
With the development of the modern centre of Riga, we see how new modern and high-quality buildings emerge next to historical buildings, which makes the architectural environment of the city more attractive and advanced. It is a Signet Bank’s priority to finance well-thought-out and high-quality projects, so we are pleased to have become a cooperation partner in financing this project, where not only the residents of the building will get a high-quality living space, but also the urban environment will be visually enriched
Ineta Done, Senior Vice President of Signet Bank
This is a unique project – a modern, sustainable building in the heart of the city, in a rapidly developing neighbourhood. At the same time, the tenants of each Renaissance apartment have the opportunity to feel as if in a private house.
Aleksandra Strode, board member of SIA LNK Properties, the developer of the project, and Head of the Residential Real Estate Department
From the point of view of urban planning, the Renaissance building in its finished appearance, in our opinion, should be considered as a significant contribution to the street space of the quarter, and it is gratifying to observe how the conceived spatial ideas have been consistently implemented and have now become an integral, visible part of the surrounding landscape – similarly as the spatial values included at the apartment solution level will soon become an indispensable part of the lives of its residents.
Elvijs Sprudzāns, architect of the Sarma Norde architectural bureau
The biggest challenge during the construction work was complications with supplies and availability of materials, which affected the whole world over the past three years. Therefore, the greatest satisfaction is that despite all the challenges, we managed to find new solutions day by day and finish the construction work on time. The construction work was carried out with the utmost care, the building is safe, durable and aesthetically very attractive, the owners of new apartments will certainly be satisfied with the quality.
Kaspars Ratkevičs, member of the board of LNK Industries
