Signet Bank supported Latvian inline skaters Nils Jansons and Anna Pavlova at the 2026 World Skate Games

Signet Bank supported one of Latvia’s most internationally recognized roller freestyle athletes, Nils Jansons, who represented Latvia at the World Skate Games 2026 in Asunción, Paraguay. The competition, held from October 2 to 18, brings together the world’s leading athletes in various roller sports disciplines. Joining Nils in Paraguay was one of Latvia’s most promising young roller freestyle athletes – 11-year-old Anna Pavlova.

Nils’s journey in roller sports began at the age of nine, when his older brother introduced him to the sport, and since then, his passion has evolved into an international professional career – Nils has been competing at the world level for more than ten years, becoming a European champion and taking third place at the 2024 World Championships in Rome. Alongside his competitions, he develops roller skating projects, collaborates with international sports brands, and inspires the next generation of athletes.

In sports, it’s not just medals and top results that inspire us the most, but also stories about people who achieve their goals through perseverance and passion. Through his work and achievements, Nils has already become one of the most recognizable Latvian roller freestyle athletes in the world, while Anna, at just 11 years old, is already proving that big dreams can begin very early. We are truly proud to have been able to support both an athlete who has already made his mark in the history of Latvian roller skating and a young talent whose greatest successes are still ahead of her. We are delighted with Nils’ and Anna’s outstanding results at the 2026 World Skate Games,

says Ineta Done, Member of the Management Board of Signet Bank.

Alongside Nils, 11-year-old Anna Pavlova also competed in the 2026 World Skate Games; she has already made a name for herself on the international stage at such a young age. At the 2025 European Championships in the roller freestyle street discipline, she placed 5th in the junior competition.

Latvian athletes inspire; Signet Bank supports them.
