BluOr Bank (ex-BlueOrange Bank) founded in 2001 is the 6th largest bank in Latvia by asset size.

Owned by four Latvian businessmen and their families, BluOr Bank is a 100% local capital bank with more than 200 employees.

BluOr Bank offers a full range of banking services: daily banking services for corporate clients and individuals, loans to small and medium-sized companies, asset management and brokerage services.

In 2021 BluOr Bank has been included in the list as one of the five systemically important financial institutions in Latvia by FCMC, following the methodology provided by the European Banking Authority.

BluOr Bank has an extensive track record in issuing bonds on a private market. In total, the bank has redeemed 3 vanilla bonds, 5 subordinated bond issues both in EUR and USD, 2 credit-linked bond issues up to this date.

The new bonds are being issued for capital adequacy purposes with the intention and purpose of being eligible as Tier 2 Capital of BluOr Bank. Bonds would allow to continue new lending activity and increase the loan portfolio.
