We are delighted that Signet Bank can support the young and talented flautist Inta Paula Briņķe, who has successfully passed a highly competitive international selection process and been accepted into the prestigious masterclasses and lectures at the Penthesilea Academy in Austria. Inta is currently studying at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, having previously graduated from the Ulbroka School of Music and Art and the Jāzeps Mediņš Riga Secondary School of Music.
The Penthesilea Academy offers young flautists from various countries the opportunity to refine their skills both in stage performance and ensemble playing, with groups of up to 20 participants receiving individual mentorship from world-renowned musicians. Inta will focus on concert flute and piccolo techniques, body-mind interaction, and the application of the Wim Hof Method under the guidance of acclaimed flautists such as Karin Bonelli from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Gudrun Hinze, the long-time solo piccolo flautist of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, and many others.
I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to participate in these masterclasses, where I can expand my knowledge and skills. During the academy, I will also have the chance to compete for a ticket to the Tampere Flute Festival, which would be a dream come true for my future career. I am deeply grateful to Signet Bank for their support, which truly brings more good into the world,
shared flautist Inta Paula Briņķe.
Persistence, determination, talent, and a spark in her eyes—this is how we would describe Inta Paula Briņķe, and this is what inspired us to support her. Inta is at the beginning of her journey, and we believe that participating in the Penthesilea Academy masterclasses will provide her with a unique opportunity to learn from world-class musicians and gain experience that will be a significant milestone in her musical career. We are confident that Inta’s success will not only benefit her but also contribute to the future of Latvian culture. We wish her great success on her path to excellence in the world of music!
