Signet Bank Supports the Traditional Autumn Concert "Friends – To Andrejs Žagars" in Cēsis

On November 23, the annual concert “Draugi – Andrejam Žagaram” or “Friends – To Andrejs Žagars” will take place at the Cēsis Concert Hall, dedicated to the memory of Andrejs Žagars, the long-time director of the Latvian National Opera and an outstanding cultural figure. This year’s special guests are two brilliant Bel Canto tenors—Lawrence Brownlee from the United States and Levy Sekgapane from South Africa. The Latvian National Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Aivis Greters.

Andrejs Žagars’ radiant personality inspired many with his vision and passion. For six years, his friends have upheld a beautiful tradition by gathering opera music luminaries at the Cēsis Concert Hall, continuing Andrejs’ mission to inspire and enrich society with exceptional artistic values. Signet Bank is honored to join this circle of friends and support the concert “Friends – To Andrejs Žagars,” celebrating world-class artists and opera masterpieces right here in Latvia.
