Signet Bank supports the international conference for economic empowerment by women

With the support of Signet Bank, an international conference for women’s economic empowerment “Novatore Impact Summit” was held on September 22-23, 2022.

The conference is organised by “Novatore” – an organisation founded in 2020 by businesswomen Baiba Rubesa and Dagnija Lejiņa, with the aim of supporting women in leadership positions by providing knowledge, creating networking opportunities, and promoting the exchange of experience.

The first day of the conference brought together 50 speakers from 18 countries – influential leaders, entrepreneurs, leaders of political organizations, researchers from all over the world to educate and inspire women to pursue their career ambitions and make a greater impact in the economy. And the second day opened with a Signet Bank champagne breakfast in the premises of the National Library of Latvia, where Roberts Idelsons and Ineta Done made a speech. They noted that the bank’s team consists of 65% women, and that the bank’s activities have always been and will be based on the principles of diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities. In business, success is determined not by gender, but by professional abilities, cooperation and love for the work we do. The diversity of genders, ethnicities, opinions, generations helps to push our business forward with even greater force.
