Signet Bank Becomes a Major Partner of the Initiative “Cēsis – Latvia’s Cultural Capital 2025!”

In 2025, Cēsis Municipality will shine under the title of Latvia’s Cultural Capital! Throughout the year, several hundred cultural events of Latvian and international significance will be implemented under the theme – “Culture in Minds, Castles, and Courtyards.”

On January 18, with a concert of Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Missa Solemnis” at the Vidzeme Concert Hall, the year of “Cēsis – Latvia’s Cultural Capital 2025!” was officially opened, with Signet Bank becoming one of its major supporters.

This year, throughout the entire year, we will celebrate culture in Cēsis, with people at its center—people who care for their courtyards, their city, and their region with love and respect, preserving history and cultural heritage. Partnership, excellence, and responsibility—these shared values unite Cēsis and Signet Bank. Partnership in building a strong community, responsibility in caring for the environment, traditions, and people, and excellence in combining traditions with innovation. Throughout the year, the initiative will be structured around five thematic pillars, through which both local and international issues and challenges will be addressed: democracy, education, environment and climate change, renewal, and the excellence of Cēsis Municipality. This collaboration will promote cultural development in the region and strengthen the local community, as well as contribute to preserving Cēsis and Latvia’s cultural heritage.
