AgroCredit Latvia expands its activities – financing is now also available to foresters throughout Latvia

The financial service provider SIA “AgroCredit Latvia” is expanding its activities and in the future will offer financing solutions not only to entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector, but also to entrepreneurs in the forestry sector throughout Latvia. This is an important step in the development of the company and is being implemented within the framework of the strategic partnership with the local bank, AS “Signet Bank”, thus strengthening the financial capacity of “AgroCredit Latvia” and developing new services.

Representatives of the forestry sector will have access to financing for replenishment of working capital, ensuring daily economic activity, purchasing machinery, as well as implementing various development and modernization projects. As in the agricultural sector, forestry entrepreneurs will also be provided with an individual approach, prompt decision-making, and financing solutions adapted to the specifics of the industry.

SIA “AgroCredit Latvia” was founded in 2011 and on November 11 this year the company will celebrate its 15th anniversary. Its founders are Ģirts Vinters and Jānis Kārkliņš, who have accumulated significant professional experience through long-term careers in the banking and legal sectors.

The company’s development has been significantly facilitated by the strategic partnership with AS “Signet Bank”, which has been the majority shareholder of “AgroCredit Latvia” since the end of 2024, holding 51% of the company’s shares.
