Kaido Ole (1963)

Kaido Ole studied design and painting at the Estonian Academy of Art. His career began in the 1990 s and since then Ole has appeared in more than 30 personal exhibitions and numerous international art projects.

Oles’s works are included in a number of important art collections around the world, including the Estonian Museum of Art in Tallinn, the Tartu Museum of Art, the Estonian Museum of Contemporary Art and the European Parliament Art collection in Brussels. His work, “Hey, It’s me!” is part of Signet Bank’s art collection, demonstrating his importance to the Baltic art scene.

Ole is the author of several major publications, and his works are included in the book “100 painters of Tomorrow” (2014), published by Thames & Hudson Ltd, and in the catalogue “Marco Undas Kaido” (2003), an Estonian exhibition catalogue 50. At the International Venice Biennale.

He has received a number of awards, including the Estonian Ministry of Culture award for Excellence in Art.
