In May 2025, Signet Asset Management Latvia IPS, the investment management company of Signet Bank Group, launched Signet Baltic Bond Fund (hereinafter – the fund), the first open-ended fund focused on Baltic corporate bonds. During its first 12 months of operation, the Fund generated a return of 7.6%, demonstrating steady growth and the consistent execution of a professional investment strategy.
The Fund aims to deliver capital appreciation by investing in Baltic corporate bonds while contributing to the development of the region’s capital markets and economy and providing companies with an alternative source of financing. It offers both experienced and first-time investors access to a diversified portfolio of Baltic corporate bonds with a minimum investment of just EUR 100. Investors may invest in the Fund not only by opening an account with Signet Bank, but also through investment accounts held with other banks operating in Latvia.
The Fund currently has EUR 12.8 million in assets under management, with a portfolio comprising 50 securities. The bonds in the portfolio have an average yield to maturity of 8.4% and an average maturity of 2.4 years. At least 85% of the Fund’s assets are invested in bonds issued by Baltic companies, including DelfinGroup, ELKO Grupa, Storent Holdings, Coffee Address, and others. Currently, the largest share of the Fund’s investments is allocated to bonds issued by Latvian companies, accounting for 65% of the portfolio, followed by Estonia at 14.6% and Lithuania at 13.8%.
“The value of the Fund’s units demonstrated steady growth with relatively low volatility during its first year of operation. This was achieved through disciplined investment management and a long-term approach. For investors, this provides an opportunity to achieve stable capital appreciation even under changing market conditions. The results confirm that investing in Baltic corporate bonds is a suitable option for investors seeking returns above bank deposit rates while maintaining a controlled level of risk,” says Harijs Beķeris, Fund Manager of Signet Baltic Bond Fund.

Signet Baltic Bond Fund has now been added to the Nasdaq Baltic Fund Center alongside other funds registered in the Baltic region. The Fund Center provides convenient access to information on daily changes in the Fund’s unit value and enables investors to compare its performance with other listed funds in a clear and transparent manner.
*For the purposes of the Fund, Baltic companies are defined as companies that are incorporated, operate, or maintain their principal office in Latvia, Lithuania, or Estonia.
