In cooperation with Signet Bank, one of the leading commercial property investment companies in the Baltics, Summus Capital, has issued bonds listed on the Nasdaq First North Baltic Bond List . This bond issue by Summus Capital has a nominal value of 10 million euros, a fixed coupon rate of 6.75, and is to be redeemed in June 2024.
We are pleased to have enabled Summus Capital’s foray into capital markets, just as we are happy to have another high-quality issuer enter the Latvian capital market. We believe that the exchange listing will contribute to Summus Capital’s investment portfolio and drive growth in a sustainable manner.
Roberts Idelsons, Chairman of the Board at Signet Bank
We welcome new issuer Summus Capital to the Nasdaq Riga exchange and thank them for choosing the Nasdaq Baltijas First North capital market as the vessel for its capital origination debut. We wish Summus Capital success along its corporate growth roadmap, and will gladly deliver all the opportunities and advantages that the Baltics’ public securities market has to offer.
Daiga Auziņa-Melalksne, Nasdaq Riga Chairwoman of the Board
Summus Capital decided to list its bonds on an exchange as a means of providing enhanced transparency and liquidity to its investors. We also aim to acquaint a broader range of investors – institutions in particular – with the story of Summus Capital. All of these considerations are crucial for a company operating in the real estate investment sector at our scale.
Boriss Skvortsovs, Chairman of the Supervisory Council at Summus Capital
The Summus Capital bonds were issued at nominal value in June 2021. The issue attracted nearly 100 investors, including banks and institutional investment companies as well as private backers. The proceeds will finance the acquisition of properties throughout the Baltics.
The Nasdaq Baltic First North market operates as a multilateral trading facility (MTF) suitable for promising companies to attract financing and boost corporate recognition as publicly traded entities.
