About LATRAPS

Established in 2000, LATRAPS is the leading agricultural cooperative in the Baltics, fully owned by Latvian farmers and driving innovation across the agricultural value chain.

With over 1,200 members managing approximately 30% of Latvia’s agricultural land, the cooperative has built a robust infrastructure to support grain production, storage, processing, and sale, making it the largest grain exporter in the Baltics.

LATRAPS has established its export capacity by collaborating with globally established players, such as Eurafrique, Cargill, Cefetra and other.

Main revenue driver of the cooperative is the sale and export of grains, peas, beans and rapeseed, which constitutes 65% of the Cooperative’s revenue

LATRAPS operates eight grain acceptance and pre-processing service centers and collaborates with partners to offer farmers 26 grain acceptance points across Latvia.

LATRAPS also owns a rapeseed oil production plant and a malting plant, reinforcing its commitment to value-added processing for its members.

The proceeds of the bond issue will be directed towards an innovative project – ASNS Ingredient – the first pea protein production facility in Northern Europe LATRAPS maintains strong governance practices, with strategic decisions made by a General Meeting where all members have equal voting rights.
