Signet Bank joins the charity campaign “Eņģeļi pār Latviju” – every euro is an investment that changes children's futures

Signet Bank believes that kindness is the most valuable investment anyone can offer to those who need it most. This year, Signet Bank has, for the first time, become a supporter of the charity campaign “Eņģeļi pār Latviju,” organized annually by TV3 Group Latvia in collaboration with the Children’s Hospital Foundation and its partners.

Together with the Latvian National Theater, the Latvian National Opera and Ballet, the Latvian National Museum of Art, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, and the OC Vision store chain, Signet Bank invites everyone to donate and show their support – every euro donated is a step closer to fulfilling a child’s dream of a better life.

The aim of “Eņģeļi pār Latviju” is to help children with serious health issues by providing them with the necessary treatment and making their dreams of a happier, more fulfilling life come true. This year, 363 children across Latvia are waiting for support – 222 children with autism spectrum disorders, 21 children with mobility impairments, 85 children who may need emergency assistance, and 35 children who require medication. This year’s campaign aims to raise more than 741 500 euros for children’s treatment.

To broaden support and involve an even larger audience, Signet Bank, in partnership with the Riga Marathon, invites everyone to participate in the annual Christmas morning charity run. The run will take place on December 24 at 9.00, starting from the Latvian National Opera Square, heading towards Mežaparks, and finishing at the Buono Buono pizzeria on Miera street. The Rimi Riga Marathon will donate 10 euros to the “Eņģeļi pār Latviju” campaign for each participant in the run, adding to the total amount of support and allowing people to combine the joy of exercise with good deeds during the holiday season.
