Signet Bank Joins LAMPA Discussion Festival for the First Time

This summer, on June 20th-21st, the 11th edition of the LAMPA discussion festival will take place in Cēsis.

LAMPA Festival is one of the most significant public opinion and discussion platforms in Latvia. It is a large-scale initiative created by over 300 organizations and active individuals. This is a space where important societal issues are discussed in a respectful and informal atmosphere. In an age where discussions often take place through screens, LAMPA reminds us of the value of face-to-face conversations – listening, respecting, and accepting the diversity of opinions.

For the first time ever, Signet Bank will be represented at the LAMPA discussion festival! This Saturday, June 21st, the bank’s Chairman of the Board, Roberts Idelsons, will participate in two discussions, one of which is organized by the bank in collaboration with the Cēsis Municipality. The discussions will be available for everyone to watch for free, either in person or via live stream.

Participating in a socially significant event like LAMPA gives Signet Bank the opportunity to be part of important societal and economic conversations. These discussions address critical issues that affect our society, business, and future growth. It’s not only a way to emphasize our commitment to the local community but also a contribution to strengthening the values of democracy — in open, honest, and accessible conversations for all.

June 21st, 12:30 – 13:30 – The discussion organized by the Finance Latvia Association: “From Vision to Growth: How to Awaken the Latvian Economy?” will feature:

• Lauris Mencis, CEO, Swedbank Latvia and Chairman of the AUGT Foundation Board

June 21st, 17:00 – 18:30 – The discussion organized by the Cēsis Municipality and Signet Bank: “What is the Value of One Trump’s Word?” Roberts Idelsons, Chairman of the Board, Signet Bank, will be joined by:
